Interview: USA Today HEA

Wowza! I was reviewed about my queer, smutty book, Behrouz Gets Lucky in USA today’s Happy♥Ever♥After romance page!

Behrouz Gets Lucky is straight out magic, crammed full of humor, a literary aesthetic, marvelous food and hot sex. It’s about two older kinky queer folks finding one another, then nervously navigating their way into love and passion. After meeting through OK Cupid for coffee and flirting, Behrouz and Lucky have what could have been a one-night stand, but the connection is so intense that they can’t stop after just once. Their first few months together are spent in a sex-fueled daze — skipping dinner, living on chocolate and coffee, losing sleep, sexting on the bus and forgoing their friends. They finally emerge from their stupor and throw a celebratory potluck, only to encounter disapproval from Lucky’s best friend due to the taboo nature in the GLBTQ community of their transmasculine genderqueer-butch relationship. When they visit Ohio for the holidays, Behrouz’s daughter Theo suspects that Lucky is a player and scolds Behrouz for having no common sense. Will their intimate connection strengthen into love after the honeymoon period? Will disapproval and domesticity cause a breakup? Read Behrouz Gets Lucky to find out if there is indeed a happy ending.”
